Panel discussion with renowned authors Frank Delaney, Diane Meier and Todd Johnson, along with Mary McDonagh Murphy, producer of the recently released documentary “Scout, Atticus & Boo A Celebration of Fifty Years of To Kill a Mockingbird”. The panelists will discuss the affect of “To Kill A Mockingbird” on their own writing as well as its continued popularity. Snippets of the documentary film will be shown featuring a collection of interviews with famous Americans as they reflect on how Harper Lee's masterpiece influenced them in all aspects of their lives. Those interviewed include Alice Lee (sister of Harper Lee), Tom Brokaw, Anna Quindlan, Andrew Young, Mary Badham and Oprah Winfrey.
