The drought policy will follow the Aquarion Water Company street guidelines: If your garden is an odd numbered garden, you can water on an odd numbered day. If your garden is an even numbered garden, you can water on an even numbered day. You may not leave a sprinkler on for an extended time. Please try to abide by this policy in respect of the situation. We thank you for your cooperation should this need arise.
This year we hope to have the gardens ready to plant by May 30th, depending on the weather. To avoid planting pre-maturely or planting in your neighbor's lot, please note that the gardens need to be plowed and tilled two times, so do not plant if you are unsure of how many times the earth has been turned over. We will post a sign when the gardens are ready for planting. Your attention to this will prevent many potential problems, and we want gardening to be a pleasant experience for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Herb Schettler
