Van Dyke brown, paynes grey,(extra oil colors optional: burnt umber, ultramarine blue, yellow ocher, indian yellow,cadmium reds, raw umber, Indian yellow) variety of brush style and sizes: pointed, round and flat variety of sizes small to1/2 inch for oil paint. Large brush 2 -3 inches to apply gesso or acrylic house paint white. Fine sand paper, turpentine, linseed oil. 2 jars with covers, canvas or smooth wood board or 1/4 inch smooth Masonite, pallet knife, pallet, rags, material to inspire you.
