"After living away from Litchfield since before the Community Center was constructed, it has been a wonderful resource since I've been back in town with my two young boys. We have taken advantage of the afterschool team building programs as well as the the social events for the kids. Berta and Dan have a way of allowing the children to grow in a safe and fun environment-allowing them independence with gentle guidance On one special (extra rambunctious) day Berta spoke to the boys group in a way that empowered them, respected them, and also taught them to be better people and feel good about it! No easy task for a dozen 10 year old boys! And, as my son says, "They always set it up for maximal funness" My children have truly benefited from taking part at the Community Center. Thanks for everything!!!
