3/1/16: Something for Everyone!

Something for everyone coming up in the next week.  Friday night is family game night!  Opportunity for family and friends to get together and play table games, board games, and minute to win it challenges.  There will be an ice cream sundae bar and to heat things up, some hot chocolate and a FIRE show by MAtica Arts on the back patio.

Saturday night is Pub Trivia Night hosted by DJ Trivia.  Put together a team of your favorite 'know it alls' and compete with other local teams. Prizes to the top three teams!

11/11/15: Quote of the Week!

"I want to take this opportunity to share a few thoughts. Just being able to drop into the Community Center whether or not you are signed up for a program, or just to sit and read the daily newspaper or if it's only to find someone to say "Hello" to then you have  found a new friend.  The staff at The Center are terrific and always willing to spend a few minutes no matter how busy they may be.  The variety of programs available  to all is impressive and of course the facility itself is comfortable, maintained with up to date info and all the rest it takes to keep a building smoothly operational. Thank you!"

9/9/15: Back to School...

Schedules are changing for most this time of year as the kids go back to school, new programs are starting, and we start thinking about fall and winter...but let's not do that yet.  Our after school programs this Fall will take place outside as weather permits.  Running, jumping, and playing will keep us active even as the days get shorter.  The weather this past week is a good reminder there is plenty of time left to enjoy the wonderful natural resources in our backyard.

8/3/15: Lego Camp Returns!

This week Play-Wel Teknologies staff will return to run Lego camp all week and our quiet space will be transformed into a energy packed lego world!  We will also have some of the kids spending the day here enjoying a full day camp and exploring the possibilities of the Center.  We are so thankful to have this wonderful facility that is so flexible and can offer such diverse programming.  There will be community members from ages 5-95 enjoying different programs Aug. 3rd - 7th!
