"Textile Conservation: A Changing Field for a Changing Art"
Meredith Wilcox-Levine, Conservator at the Textile Conservation Workshop in South Salem, will discuss the evolution of textiles from an under appreciated decorative arts to a growing appreciation as a fine art form. Ms. Wilcox-Levine holds an M.S. in Historical Costume and Textile Conservation from the University of Rhode Island and is a Member of the AIC and the Costume Society of America.
